PyLadies Berlin Open Source Hack evenings

Hi all,

the Berlin chapter of PyLadies is planning to start regular open source hack evenings in the new year. Are there any folks with Python based projects that would be interested to join? This will likely start remote so you donโ€™t need to be in Berlin and our goal is to keep hybrid elements when we do in person events as much as possible. Details such as when and how often these events will happen are still to be determined, likely they will be held on Gathertown.

Best wishes Jessica

Hi all,

we, the PyLadies Berlin community, are looking for support for this event series. In particular, weโ€™re looking for someone who would be willing to take on a lead/ mentor role for remote events.

A few more details: We asked our community whether they would prefer in-person or online events. The response was that 58% of people prefer in-person events and 42% of people prefer online events. Ideally we would like to meet everyoneโ€™s needs, however so far I am the only organiser and mentor for this event series. I donโ€™t see myself able to run a hybrid event (in-person and online) by myself because it would be too much of a stretch. I will therefore set up in-person events (in Berlin) and wanted to ask if one of you would be able to take the lead on the corresponding online events (so we could do hybrid). Ideally it would be someone with experience in open source. The events will be held once per month for 3 month for now starting from late February. Dates are not fixed yet and will be announced soon.

Best wishes, Maren
